ChatMatch Privacy Policy: What We Collect and Why

We aim to collect as little as the Service needs. This page explains exactly what that is, and the choices you have.

1. Scope

This policy covers chatmatch.vip and the ChatMatch service (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to the practices described here.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide: if you create an account or log in, we receive the details you provide, such as an email address or a third-party login identifier. If you contact us, we keep your message and the address you used.

Information collected automatically: when you use the Service we receive technical data such as device and browser type, language, approximate location derived from your IP address, pages visited, and events such as tapping Start Video Chat. A guest session is created so that matching and free-match limits can work.

Camera and microphone: video and audio are used to carry the live conversation. We ask your browser for permission before access begins, and you can withdraw it at any time in your browser settings.

Payments: purchases are processed by third-party payment providers. We receive confirmation and limited details, not your full card number.

3. How we use information

We use information to run and secure the Service, to match you with other users, to apply free-match and coin balances, to review reports and enforce our rules, to understand how the Service is used and improve it, to provide support, and to meet legal obligations.

4. Analytics and cookies

We use analytics (including Google Analytics 4) to understand which pages and features are used, where visitors leave, and how purchase flows perform. Analytics may use cookies or similar identifiers. The Cookie Policy explains the types and how to control them.

6. How long we keep it

We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above, then delete or de-identify it. Records needed for security, payments or legal reasons may be kept longer.

7. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or export your data, to object to certain processing, or to withdraw consent. You can also control cookies in your browser and camera or microphone access in your device settings. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No online service can promise perfect security, so please take care with what you share on calls.

9. Minors

The Service is not for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a minor has used the Service, contact us and we will act.
